Strengths: Very nice display, and numerous possible interfaces. 3 RCA Outputs, Aux input, and iPod capable (I got the adapter for $50 from best buy).
Weaknesses: Very little as of now.
Summary: I would suggest this CD player to anyone. It comes with a very nice remote which is easy to use when driving so you dont have to look at the actual player. It powered my factory speakers to their max, and provided a very clean and nice sound. It also have the 3 RCA inputs I needed to write in my 6 channel infinity amp.

Excellent product.

Strengths: Does it all for a great price.
Weaknesses: The only small weakness would be the knob seems to be too recessed. It does protrude, but can only turn it with the tips of your fingers, and not the pads. I use the remote anyway... :)
Summary: At around $200, this head unit is an amazing product with tons of "toys" for the price. Was able to plug in my Nano as well as another MP3 player directly into this radio. Also love that it can read a CD-R full (175)of MP3s and/or iPod AACs, rather than having to burn only 10-15 songs in Wav format. Great display and mechanical flip down face makes this look much higher priced. Great EQ and find tuning abilities for multiple audio set ups. Did I say this was a nice radio??

Strengths: Has multiple options to listen to your music. tuner, Cd/MP3 disk, Aux input, and USB input as well as options for Aux 2 input, Multi disk player input and Bluetooth input (phone etc.)
Weaknesses: Pioneer doesn't tell you that the USB media play must work on FAT 32 in order to sync with the receive itself. I had to find out the had way. they only they you that it works with most media players.
Summary: If you intend on buying this to hook up you MP3 player or and external hard drive make sure they will work with it 1st, by contacting Pioneer. The operators manual has room for improvement in covering things I learned about it by searching the WEB and read different reviews, unfortunately after I bought it. I have a Creative 30GB Vison M & it did not work with it. My Sandisk Sansa 2Gb did and nicely. Reviews I read after having problems trying to get may MP3 player to work also said that only Seagate's external hard drives work with the USB connection. Otherwise I like the many fine turning options the radio offers

Strengths: Built-in USB jack
Weaknesses: Not intuitive to operate
Summary: I’ve had the Pioneer 6900UB for about 3 months. I bought it mainly for its built-in usb jack. This way, I can easily load up inexpensive thumbdrives and leave them in the car. It looks great, sounds great, easily installed and has a lot of functions/features. However, the downside is that it is not very intuitive and one would need to fully read the manual to understand how to operate it. I also found it difficult to read the tiny labels on the buttons. It has a motorized faceplate that you can remove, but I plan to never remove it and hopefully the connector won’t break/wear out (learned from experience). All in all, for under $200, I am quite pleased with it.

Strengths: 7-band EQ, lots of sub-woofer control, better control schemes than past Pioneer decks, easy to attach and remove faceplate, iPod hook up via USB makes for higher quality connection.
Weaknesses: iPod scrolling is slow if you're using anything over 4GB (having several hundred listings to go through makes for a long search while sifting through each artists), scroll wheel doesn't seem like the
Summary: The Pioneer DEH-6900UB is a great, solid stereo deck that will serve you well if you decide to get out of the low-budget decks. And definitely buy online as you'll save around $100 (deck generally goes for around $270-$280 in retail stores). The features and controlability allow you to temper the sound from door speakers and sub-woofers to your perfection.

Strengths: Ipod usb docking cable for controlling your ipod. Remote Control
Weaknesses: control knob is a little too sensitive but I have big hands so its probably not the units fault.
Summary: The only reason I considered this unit was because of the ability to connect my ipod. I was tired f using a cassette adapter with distortion and other static noise. This player will play many music formats from your usb "thumb drive" deirectly so this works great even if you don't have an ipod. For the price I think this is a decent head unit. This was my first Pioneer and I would definitely consider this brand again.
