Strengths: reliable, DVD/CD/VCD compatibility, features, built quality.
Weaknesses: old age?
Summary: I have had this DVD player for I think probably close to 5-6 years now. This model came out when DVD's were just getting popular. At the time, it was THE best DVD player for the money. It was more compatible than other DVD players, had more user friendly features, and was well priced. It was certainly far superior than the SONY and etc. out there.

To date, it is still working fine. Sure it lacks progressive scan, component output, and other new features. But they did not exist at the time.

It was well worth the $$$ and I think I am squeezing every penny out of it by giving to my grandma to watch her Chinese VCD soap operas.
