Strengths: Well designed, comfortable, good price, good battery life with powerswitch
Weaknesses: Very cheap made, probably will not last long, not many features
Summary: Bought it on sale, for less then $10 after rebate.
Was surprise how comfortable it is without anything sticked inside your ear. Earpiece is completely outside of the ear. Sound quality is also good.
Sliding power switch feels kind of flimzy. This could be done without sliding parts by pressing button for longer period as it is done in many other headsets.
Overall construction also feels cheap in the hands,
But for the price can't complain.

Strengths: Comfortable, light weight, Stylish, Power Slide battery saving feature, easy set up, very user friendly
Weaknesses: Signal can become a bit staticy at times (depending on placement of handset)
Summary: Now keep in mind that I'm not a "road warrior" when it comes to my cell phone (but I do have a cell phone, so that qualifies me as a "user")
It took about 2 hours to fully charge the headset and set up was a snap (or should I say "click")
The quality of both incoming and outgoing calls has been more than satisfactory. (with outgoing voice sounding a bit better that incoming though) There is some slight static on the receiving end but the static seems to come and go as the placement of the phone (handset) is moved around on your person. So there is the possibility that if the handset is placed in bag or briefcase, there could be a bit more static than one would like. With that said, the H550 has been a pleasant purchase. The Power Slide feature has been a plus because I do not need to have the headset on all the time, so the battery life will be extended for people like me (the slightly more than casual user) I have enjoyed the ability to make calls via the voice recognition feature on my MOTOROKR Z6m cell phone and have not had an issue with the H550 understanding my speech.
As for the fit, the headset comes with (3) different styled earpieces which insured a better than "standard" fit and feel...I will say that the ear piece sort of "sits" on your ear (comfortably) and it takes a while to get use to feeling like it’s going to fall off. (which it does not, thankfully)

Motorola Bluetooth H550
Strengths: Price
easy to sync
extra earpieces
Weaknesses: Bulky and floppy
Summary: The H550 is a little bulky and when I tried it on with the original earpiece it was very floppy, although it did not fall off, I then changed to a different earpiece and it was better and stayed on my ear. Charging did not take a long time ( 2 hrs). And it synced up with my LG phone with no problem. I like the buttons on it. I think it could be better if it was smaller, but for the price it is very functional.

Strengths: - Power Slider on Top
- Call quality
- Ergonomic Design
- Mini USB Charger
Weaknesses: - None
Summary: Currently I am using AT/BT 210 (ativa) bluetooth. Since my wife needed another bluetooth, I purchased this from OD about 2 weeks ago while it was on sale.
Power slider of this Motorola Bluetooth is quite unique. I haven't seen such thing is my other bluetooth AT/BT 120, Nokia Bh200 etc.
Power slider actually improves the talk time and stand by time.
Mini USB charger makes life easier. Bluetooth can be charged from a Computer. If most of the makers follow such standard it will be easy to charge devices with a single car charger and USB cable while travelling.
Package includes a set of three differently shaped earhooks which can be easily switched to ensure that you will be able to find your perfect fit.
Till date I haven't seen any short coming for this bluetooth.

Strengths: light weight. got it for $5 AR and so thats awesome. works flawlessly. Doesn't hurt my ears like the ones I was using before. good battery life
Weaknesses: sometimes problem with signal. seems a little flimsy and i am afraid it might not tolerate hard handling.
Summary: great BT headset particularly if you were able to get it cheap. Name brand. easily detected by my phone and pairing was simple.
This is my 3rd headset. I has one motorola before which was also great but I broke it. my next one was a cheapo which didnt fit well . this one fits well and also my budget.
note: I am not a frequent user and so it serves my purposes.

Strengths: Compact Profile: small and neat look.
Late technology: support Bluetooth 2.0.
Customized fitting: come with three different shape ear hooks.
Plenty of features
Weaknesses: The slide power button feels flimsy.
The pair mode is hard to understand.
Summary: I have a Logitech Bluetooth headset and two different Motorola headsets, H350 and H500. This H550 is the best one that I have. Compare to other headsets I have, this one is more comfortable to wear. The sound quality is also good. This headset wins on the features it provides. It has plenty of tones to indicate different states, it has a multiple color led, which gives you more information, and the led isn't that bright compare to the H350. (I don't think it is necessary to make the led that bright) The slide power button is a much better approach than those press only buttons. I should say the pair mode is kind of weird, out of control. I feel better for the traditional pair mode, which requires you to hold the power button until it enters the pair mode, and sends the headset's identity. For this H550, I don't understand under what condition it will enter the pair mode, which is annoying.

Strengths: Small, Easy to Carry, Does the job
Weaknesses: A little uncomfortable
Summary: This is my first Bluetoot headset, so it took me a little time to figure out the procedures I should follow. The instructions were pretty simple and easy to follow. I tested it with a PC equipped with usb bluetooth adapter. It was the adapter that gave me a hard time to get it work. But once that was figured out, the this motorola H550 worked just fine. I was able to use both headphone and mic funtions in chatrooms.
Though it was pretty light, I still felt uncomfortable and a little heavy while wearing it. Another thing is if you use it for PC like I do, it only provides mono sound to one side. So it's ok to use it for chatting, but definitely not for music listening.

Strengths: Clear sound quality. Good battery life
Weaknesses: None
Summary: This was my first motorola headset...I had a different brand and people complained about not being able to hear me, and the calls would sometimes sound staticy. No problems like that with this one. It's comfortable to wear, and the sound quality is great. Battery life is very good.

Good basic headset
Strengths: Price, weight, performance
Weaknesses: fit, design(?)
Summary: This product could be found as cheap as $5-10 after rebate and for that price it's a real bargain. No problems connecting to both Motorola Razr and Samsung 519 phones, sound quality is good (may be not the best in its class but still acceptable), reasonable connectivity range. The design is kinda "bulky" if you care about such things.

Strengths: Great Price, Clarity, Great Battery life and Support Bluetooth 2.0
Weaknesses: NONE
Summary: It is clear and I have not had any problems with its connection. Battery life seems pretty good and the functions are very simple and easy to use, also compatible with the newest bluetooth 2.0 standard. This headset for the money was excellent!

Strengths: Good value; easy hookup; quick charge
Weaknesses: Fingerprints
Summary: I got this for really cheap after a rebate, so I wasn't expecting much. However, I was pleasantly surprised! I used to have a cheapie no-name brand on my Treo 700p, but this one is so much better. I charged it in about an hour, then made connection with my treo right away (code = 0000). I made a test call w/ my phone on my belt, and it sounded fine. The person on the other end also had no issues. I like that it has large power slider. The shiny black surface does show fingerprints, however. I wish it had a USB power cord, so I could charge it with my computer, but the AC adapter is hardwired to the cable.

Good product
Strengths: Lightweight, charges in less than 2 hours, slide on/off switch
Weaknesses: Sometimes the headset loses connection with the phone while on a call
Summary: This is the second H550 that I have owned. The first one would not charge at all, so it was exchanged and the new one is working fine.
The sound quality is good, and it is very lightweight compared to other BT headsets that I have used. he only real complaint that I have is that the headset occasionally "drops" the call. I believe this may be related to the phone, and might not necessarily be an issue with the headset.

Strengths: Nice Range,
No Static Issues,
3 different Size Ear Clips for Customized Fit,
Sliding On/Off Switch
Weaknesses: Range not as wide as Advertised
Summary: It is a pretty decent looking headset with a decent range with no static issues. Has a on/off slider switch to conserve battery. Has all the fancy voice recognition features. The best thing is 3 different size ear clips for customized fit. Has a rechargeable battery and come with a AC to mini USB Charger. I guess you can also charge it via your computer's USB port if you have a USB to mini USB cable, I haven't tried it though. It paired pretty easily with my Blackberry as well as well as my laptop. Overall, a pretty nice bluetooth headset.

Strengths: Comfortable, medium weight, "Power Slide" on-off switch (battery saving feature), easy set up, 3 interchangable ear hooks, bluetooth 2.0, charges through USB port
Weaknesses: Doesn't seem to clamp tightly enough to ear, 33 foot potential range stated on box is too far-signal becomes staticy at 15-20 feet, sometimes does not automatically relink when turning on power switch
Summary: $5 after rebate at Office Depot. Linked to a Sanyo phone - very easy. Charges fast - full charge in about 1.5 hours. 3 buttons - power slider/call/hang-up button, and up and down volume buttons (press both up and down to mute). Very good sound quality as long as do not roam too far from the handset (recommend within 15 feet). Does not fit snugly in ear - flops around as you turn head! Perhaps trying one of the other 2 ear hooks might help. Works with phone's voice recognition after hitting call button. Also works with call waiting. Charges through USB, but must buy a mini USB cable (comes with AC to mini USB only). Overall recommended.

Motorola H550 Wireless Cell Phone Headset
Strengths: Light weight, Comfortable, Slide switch
Weaknesses: battery life could be better
Summary: 2008-04-01 17:34:29 I have Logitech bluetooth headset before, this one looks cheaper than the logitech ones, but less weight and since you have 3 ear hooks to choose, more comfortable to wear.
There's a little static noise in the backgroud. The sliding power switch is a battery saver comparing to the hard to use on/off button on other models.
