Strengths: compact,
Weaknesses: pro duo cards are expensive,
Summary: 2007-08-31 07:03:28 it's a great little camera. the price tag is a little high but its definitely worth it. 2.5 in screen is big enough and the image stabilization thing works beautifully. when recording in the highest setting, a 2 gb card lasts only 25 minutes which is disappointing since it's sooo short. but this is first and foremost a camera so in picture mode, you get about 600 or so pictures which is really great. it's compact enough to carry in your pocket which is the point of buying one but i have noticed that other brands like casio comes in a thinner size with a lower price tag. still sony has one of the best customer service i have ever experienced. i haven't tested the battery life but i think it's suppose to last 300 pictures non stop, whatever that means. all i know is that it's capable of lasting me 2 day's shooting on a regular trip. i still bought another battery just to be safe. the settings on the camera are really easy to manipulate. i am not savvy with white balance and all those technical settings so pointing and shooting is good enough for me. i love the music feature that comes with the slide show on the camera. very nice when reviewing your pictures. this camera does come in many colors, so you can choose one that matches your personality. one thing, don't buy this from staples.com, they will send it in a plastic bag instead of a box. i received my package crushed.
