Strengths: Good sound quality, cd-text, cd-naming, nice jog-dial,
Weaknesses: Slow and noisy cd changing.
Summary: I bought this unit to replace my 110-CD Techinics because of the need of more cd storage. I was hoping that Techincs released a newer, more storage capable unit but my 400+ cd's got tired of waiting. This Sony changer seams to sound better than the Technincs. But since I keep my changer in ramdom (shuffle) mode all the time, it takes a bit longer than the Technics to change from one cd to the next. It also will not displayed the manually inputed cd titles unless you stop the cd. Very anoying. With my Techincs I was able to check the artis name in the middle of a song. The Sony do have a very usefull quick jog dial that allows you to access different menu settings very quickly. The Sony changer speed is noticeable slower and a bit noisier than the Technics. But for now it is serving it's purpose very well.
