Strengths: Good picture, Practically everything is automated, Great 802.11b support, very quiet operation, not too bulky.
Weaknesses: 2500 lumen rating might be a little high
Summary: We tried quite a few projectors in the 2500 lumen range before purchasing this one. The CX75 delivers exactly what you'd expect in terms of picture brightness and quality. Other projectors we tried were perhaps a bit brighter at 2500 lumens, but I can't say that it was a very big difference.
Where the CX75 excells is in the extra features, some of which I wasn't even expecting. First, everything on the projector is motorized or automated - focus and keystone is automated, the lens cap is motorized, and the projector tilt legs are motorized and controllable by remote. Second, the projector comes with a ton of extras - a ir remote (of course), a very stylish and powerful laser pointer... it even came with a usb memory stick (Im not sure why, theres no connector on the projector), and a usb 802.11b adapter that will work at short range (connected at 2mbit from a few feet). You actually can disconnect power and the fans will still cool it down (yes, I risked trying it). Speaking of fans the highest brightness sound levels are more quiet than most projectors low power modes.
The Airshot wireless presentation tool I was very impressed with, it can connect to notebooks in ad-hoc mode, or to longer range wireless routers (with 128bit WEP, which is what we're using). In our tests we were able to present at what seemed like 10-15 fps in picture presentations (1024x768x32), and it was even able to play video at a couple frames per second, very responsive. The only limitation I found was I couldnt figure out how to connect from another subnet (can only connect by resolvable name, not IP?).
Hope this helps someone, I havent found many reviews for this projector range.
