 Kind of Average Camcorder Strengths: Great Zoom...Bigger LCD and Good Looking...
Weaknesses: Makes lots of noise and bad performance indoors...
Summary: I brought this DVD camcorder for everyday use to capture my newborn son's activities, and it is a bit of disappointment. First of all, the recording quality is very grainy and hazy when using it at night or indoor, even when I had bright indoor lights ON. The results in daylight are much better but even a cheaper camcorder gives good results in daylight...its the indoor results that matter to me.
Second, the motor makes a lot of noise and I could easily hear the same when I played the recording on my DVD Player. Its OK when you have some background noises or music going on but the motor noise is very bothering otherwise. I would not recommend this camcorder.
