Strengths: It works.
Weaknesses: You must use drivers from the web site.
Summary: This item worked for its intended use which was to use a device with a serial connector via USB. You must install the drivers which is not a simple click on a "setup" program. It comes with drivers but I had problems until I used the drivers from the web site.
