Strengths: good performance, MP3 connectivity via USB
Weaknesses: USB connection can take some time
Summary: When I looked to make a purchase, I started by looking at cheap ($100) receivers and after some research found that I could buy this with many more options and much better looking for just a little more money.

The CD player works well, the MP3 connection takes some time to load. You can only control the MP3 player through the receiver, so it may be best to have a smaller amount to songs to browse.

This receiver looks very nice, the text is easy to read and the colors look nice.

I would say that I would purchase this receiver at this price point again.

Strengths: MP3 USB connectivity, lots of options, fair price
Weaknesses: nothing so car
Summary: I purchased this receiver for my wife's van. I initially looked at cheap ($100) receivers and realized that I could get this much better looking receiver that has many more options for just a small price more.

This is a very good looking receiver, with clear text and it is easy to read in both daylight and at night. It is also high gloss and I would think that scratches will show up very easily.

Functionality, the CD player works very well and there are many options to tweak the sound. The USB connectivity works but is slow to load. I connected a 30GB MP3 player and it took a while to load so that I could start playing music. Also, you can only control the MP3s through the receiver, which can make it difficult at times. I think it would be easier to have a smaller amount of songs to browse, or just be happy to play any random song on your MP3 player.

Overall, I am very happy with this product and would purchase again!
