1 Star Review32" JVC LCD
Strengths: Price
Weaknesses: Customer service
Summary: I bought this TV because of the price and the JVC reputation. Everything was fine for about a month, then the blue line of death showed up on the panel. Called JVC, and they set me up with a local warranty service center. Well a month later and the new LCD panel is on back order. JVC allows the repair center to use a third party to order their parts. The repair center don't know when the panel will be in, and JVC can't help since the panel was not ordered through them. No one can help me and I HAVE NOT HAD MY NEW TV IN A MONTH! NO TELLING WHEN I WILL GET IT BACK. BEWARE OF JVC COSTOMER SERVICE.

Strengths: HD picture, HDMI, QAM tuner, looks, USB plugin, sound, Energy Star rated
Weaknesses: SD picture, lack of PC (VGA) input, location of USB viewer
Summary: I regard JVC products in the same league as Sharp, Samsung, Toshiba and Panasonic. Which means they can more than hold their own against the big boys. Sadly, they've been crowded off the shelves by their rivals recently. This TV is testament to legendary JVC quality. Right out of the box, you can tell it's a quality product, with the aesthetically pleasing design. Their marketing about the Genessa chip is not mere hype, the HD picture is stunning and the icing on the cake is the built-in QAM tuner which plucks out unscrambled HD channels off the air. Great speakers on this baby too, as I was surprised by the clear, crisp sound with distinguishable bass. Sure the SD picture looks a bit washed out but not too bad. This one's a keeper.

Strengths: Color
Weaknesses: Remote
Summary: Best tv for the price! The xbox looks awsome and so does the wii. The obvious issues with regular sd, but HD is great!! Remote is adaquate. This vs a Visio is a much better buy. Good luck!

Strengths: 1200:1 is generally adequate and considering the price it could be more than worth it
Weaknesses: few of the SD channels are a bit washed but overall acceptable
Summary: Onlyone annoying thing (Features = 4) about the TV is the location of the Photo Viewer Terminal. It's located in a recessed vertical port on the rear panel and difficult to reach.

If you plan on using this feature like I have, a short USB extension cable permanently installed in this port would be handy. The TV did read a 512 meg Sandisk Cruzer Micro with 8 character.jpg images on it.
