Strengths: easy to follow directions helps to make a perfect end product
Weaknesses: would like a shut off switch
Summary: Easy to use product; easy to follow directions; helps to make a healthy meal/snack; easy to clean; reasonable cost; yogurt lasts longer than commercially made yogurt; I have added flavoring successfully; requires that you use commercial yogurt as a starter and would like a way to make it completely from scratch

Strengths: easy fast
Weaknesses: so little recipes in the book!
Summary: I just received my new yogurt maker and could not help to try right away!

I was used to make them without but now it's really easy to get the firmness we like.

I have a 18 month old toddler and he loves yaourts. and making them my self I just can make his prefered ones and I really know what's in.

Just try with fresh fruits, it's great.

Strengths: Tastes great, Easy to use
Weaknesses: A little time-consuming, requires trial and error
Summary: Very delicious yogurt! However we are still experimenting with how long to boil and cool down the milk before incubating. I recommend using a yogurt starter to increase the firmness of the finished product (Amazon has the option of buying machine with starter). There are several recipes at the back of the instruction booklet and ideas for add-ins. The plain yogurt is so good that we haven't attempted flavors yet. I add 2 tsp of sugar to each jar just before eating, otherwise it is a bit tart. My 15-month old baby loves it, as well and my husband and me. Good investment!

Strengths: it makes the yogurt perfectly and i could able to get different yogurt flavours at one time. I could also select the lowfat milk that i wanted.
Weaknesses: i wish it switches off automatically once it is done
Summary: I like this product as it helps to be healthier and gives the feeling of making home made yogurt with tasty and lowfat. This was recommened by my friend and i saw her using it. I would recommened anyone to get this as it is highly useful and definitely needed in every home

Strengths: This makes mild, firm, delicious yogurt with a bare minimum of work. My entire family loves this yogurt!
Weaknesses: We have a large family (7 children), so even with extra jars it is hard to keep yogurt available. We just ordered a second Euro Cuisine yogurt maker so that I can do a double batch all at one time.
Summary: I did a lot of research before buying this, and am really thrilled with it. We use organic non-homogonized milk and the yogurt is fantastic. For firmer yogurt, add a packet of gelatin to each batch. We also add a little stevia to each batch so the yogurt isn't really tart. My children like to put a jar of yogurt in a glass, add some milk and some jam or fruit baby food and stir well - the result tastes like one of those expensive drinkable yogurts!

Strengths: Excellent price-to-performance. I love the utility of having multiple small jars as opposed to one big tub like many other yogurt makers.
Weaknesses: A bit slow, but this isn't really a process that can be done quickly!
Summary: 2006-09-05 15:13:21 Not a perfect machine, but you're not going to find a better one for $30. It's attractive on the countertop and it gets the job done without much hassle.
