Strengths: Compact Size & Very Light - Not Bulky
Weaknesses: No room for extra accessories.
Summary: It's like getting the case and discs for free since the battery included is worth more than the total cost! Great Buy for a Great Product!

Strengths: Genuine Sony NP-FH50 battery, nice but small carrying case as well one DVD-R mini and DVD-RW disc...
Weaknesses: Aside from the bag being a little small, it is worth it!!
Summary: I just purchased two of these kits because they are on closeout at Best Buy. I went to the local store and the system was updated to reflect a price of $48.99 because of it being a discontinued item. Additionally, Best Buy coupons could be found that reflect 10% off ($4.90) making the item total $44.09!!! The coupon code for all that want it is 8906348...enjoy! The price of the battery alone at Best Buy is $69.99 and that has remained the same...so you do the math...you can get the same identical battery, a very nice but small carryng case that is also a Sony as well as one sony Mini DVD-R and one DVD-RW for $25.00 LESS...I think it is a no brainer. Also, for those of you doing research, I have found that many of the generic brands actually are not compatible direclty with Sony's Actiforce infoLITIUM batteries and require a separate cable to be attached through the aux. USB port on the camcorder...what a mess. Additionally, while other generic companies may use NiMH materials, Sony's newer Lithium rechargeable system is quite superior and the price of the typical Lenmar, for example, will not be that great of a savings normally and with this deal, really should not be a consideration. Knowing this, I bought 2 because it is better to have the spare batteries now before I need one and pay an arm and a leg...I will perhaps give the extra bag away a gift or, better yet, sell it on EBAY!
