reelchip Member Since: Sep 2008 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 3 Days	Solid Sound Strengths: The unit is reasonably priced. They are on sale for the season, $199, which is a great deal. Weaknesses: I think I would have preferred the i-pod dock in the unit Summary: My daughter has two of the Cambridge 740's. I am sorry they discontinued that model. That being said, the 745 is basically the same but enables you to play your ipod through the radio. The sound is the same excellent sound as the 740. I personally prefer it to Bose at a fraction of the price. These are good solid units (they weigh about 12 pounds). We have had the two 740s for 8 years and never had a problem.
