Strengths: Crystal Clear Image; Price; Design
Weaknesses: Only one component input; Weak Speaker
Summary: I have been using this TV for about two weeks and very happy about the its performance. I used it to show the videos I recorded with my HD camcorder and the image is astonishing. Its built-in HD Tuner is also able to help you capture a few local HD channels from the cable even if you haven't subscribed any HD channels.

As other reviewers said, one of the problem with this TV is its limit input interfaces. Only one component input is provided. And the two HDMI input are not actually two either, they share one audio input. So you'd probably need some kind of HD AV selector if you have more HD devices than it could take and don't want to mess with the cables frequently.

The online price of this LCD TV is around $700 totally as of now, pretty competitive among the big three LCD brands: Samsung, Sharp and Sony. This model is not compatible with 1080P though. But since there are not a lot of 1080P programs right now, and the difference between 1080P and 1080I nearly invisible for TVs under 40", It's not worth it to go after those models a few hundreds bucks more expensive just to get the 1080P compatibility. In all, if you are looking for a brand name LCD TV to fit in your bedroom, this is definitely the model you should consider.

Strengths: For this known product, the price is reasonable.
Weaknesses: No weakness at this point-of-time.
Summary: I knew this product for being a reliable purchase. From reading the specs and other viewiers it gave me a good enough impression to make this purchase at a reasonable price. I do recommend this good television.

Strengths: PC input, good sound, easy to swittch between inputs, nice looking, light.
Weaknesses: Watching standard DVDs on this TV does not give you HD image. In some instances the image was worse than on my old tube TV.
Summary: Overall experience with this TV is good. Haven't had it for 2 long, a week may be but I am happy. Quite an upgrade from the traditional heavy, ugly-looking, rear projection tube TV. The price I paid was quite a deal, open box under $500. Of course I still believe it is not as good as the Sony(which is more expensive) but among all 26" SHARP LCD TVs this is the best. The remote is OK, although the tiny buttons do not impress me at all. FAvorite channels and CC is a must for a remote these days and this guy has it all.

As someone already mentioned this TV is 1080i capable but you get what you pay for. Want the 1080p? pay more. Personally I don't care. For a low budget family this is the TV to grab and go.

one last tip: buy it new, open box is OK as long as it is from a trusted business. STAY AWAY! from the used non-returnable junk on eBay. I strongly recommend you buy it new with warranty locally or from a trusted site. PAying a little more will give you peace of mind. Money isn't everything. A smart shopper is always smart. A cheap shopper is.........you guessed it right - cheap.
