The camera is also easy to operate. This is my first camcorder and I am very pleased with my selection. Weaknesses: Its a little heavy but no big deal really. The only other thing is that upon recording the unit takes a bit too long before actually being able to record. Summary: I would definitely purchase this product again because it is excellent quality relative to the cost and in comparison to other HD camcorders. The images still very clear although zoom the things far away. Weaknesses: If the camcorder can burn the DVD + Rom will be better. Summary: This camcorder have better quality than I though. It can zoom the image from far away but still very clear , if you used the HDMI connected to your HD television , you will see the quality of the images .For me to say directly burn the images into the DVD Rom is better because it won't lose any quality when making the transfer from the camcorder to the computer.The size and the weight of the camcorder is very good , especially my mother haven't compliant the machine is heavy . jinsonghuang Member Since: Mar 2008 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 7 Days	Panasonic HDC-DX1 Camcorder Review Strengths: This camcorder is bigger, badder, and brimming with bulk.The port cover is sturdy and pulls out easily via a finger tab on the bottom. Weaknesses: Mounting a flash on the side of the lens instead of on top or underneath is a problem that you get uneven lighting. Summary: It is quite a sleek and compact camcorder with meat on its bones, and has extra stability offered by the heft if not the drop in portability.It is valuable to be pointed out that it features a shockingly good OIS system.At last it should be pointed out that it is not tough enough.
