Strengths: USB powered, Variable Speed Control Knob, Quiet Fan at lower speeds
Weaknesses: Can get a tad loud if cranked up to full blast, but you shouldn't hear it if what you are doing needs it that powerful!
Summary: I installed 2 of these in my enclosed A/V cabinet to cool down my Pioneer Elite receiver (really doesn't need it cuz it runs cool anyways, just as precautionary measures) and one for the PS3 60GB model which does run hotter in an enclosed cabinet. They are both great fans, the one on the receiver is running low so you can't even hear it when the room is silent and the other I have cranked up to max, you can hear it, but when you are playing a game or watching a movie my surround sound is at a level that crushes the noise from the fan by the PS3. If watching at a quiet level, I just turn down the fan speed and it still does a great job at pulling the hot air out of my cabinet. If you find yourself in the same situation as my self, you can't go wrong with these!! Great product and great price if you can get them under $9!
