Strengths: Value for the money,front a/v jacks, plays cd's well. No problem so far with CD-R's. Would purchase again. Weaknesses: Remote somewhat clumsy, but bearable. Summary: If you are looking for your first dvd/vcr combo to save space of two separate units, this was our unit of choice. It is compact enough to fit in the entertainment center and still leave room for the satellite receiver. Good quality on copying non-copywrited cd-r's to vhs.
