2 Star ReviewClose, but no cigar....
Strengths: Compact, light, well built and easy to use. A very good looking camera that easily fits in a shirt pocket. Battery life is very good.
Weaknesses: Plan on about 80% of your pictures to be blurry, noisy, or not quite in focus. Any type of low-light enviroment and this camera falls on its face.
Summary: I was hopping for a good, compact camera to take with me traveling. After a month in use and over 300 pictures, I have returned the camera and purchased another brand. My old Sony DSC-P51, 2 megapixel camera, was used by my wife during our travels and it out-performed the FE-230 in almost every instance. We even did some side-by-side pictures of the same subject, same time, etc. The Sony pictures were clearer and crisper. Again, this is a good looking, easy to use, and well built camera. However, you buy a camera to take pictures and this one just doesn't cut it. Close, but no cigar.....

Strengths: Small, very nice photos, light
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I was moving up from a 3MP Canon and this thing rocks. 7MP is more than enough for the casual photographer. Also, much thinner and lighter than I was expecting, but still solid construction. At this price point you can't go wrong.

2 Star Reviewreview on FE-230 Silver Digital Camera
Strengths: Small, compact, easy to use
Weaknesses: sluggish performance and soft pictures
Summary: Not very expensive, although the small size body is a plus but for better image quality and stronger performance, this would be not be my first choice if it is not a gift.

Strengths: Fast start up and easy (on screen) controls. Light weight and long lasting battery. Equal to or better than the Exilm in all respects.
Weaknesses: Does not offer a burst shoot. This is a feature I frequently use when photographing action shots.
Summary: This light weight little porwerhouse can easily hold it's own against cameras twice it's price. I have purchased three more for friends. We all wear them on lanyards in our front shirt pockets. Fastest startup I've encountered in a digital zoom camera.

2 Star ReviewOkay...
Strengths: Ability to take pictures outside/moving pictures
Weaknesses: Pictures in dark places, it's flash IS HORRIBLE.
Summary: It's overall a nice camera, but it's not what I expected.

It doesn't have a lot of features and interesting stuff to it.

The lighting inside when it's dark and you're using flash is HORRRIBBBLLEEEEE.

It's okay outside,

it seems like a camera you would buy from walmart...

in the $30 section.....

Strengths: The most of this camera, is the picture quality. The lens of theese.
Weaknesses: The weight. It could be less.
Summary: The Olympus's cameras are the best of the market. Nice quality, good weight, and the price of that is so cool.

It have so much functions, but it left some effects, like black & white, old photo, and others.
