GabeTaylor Member Since: Aug 2008 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 6 Months	Pro and Con(s) Strengths: great audio, ease of use once controls are learned, Weaknesses: Placement of volume knob / When scroling through Ipod Summary: Volume control/scroll knob in bad placement; while trying to drive if you want to scroll through your Ipod your hand obstructs the LCD screen making it difficult to see. Scrolling through the Ipod section will not jump to letter; you must scroll through every artist/song. I have over 4000 songs on my Ipod and over 200 artists. Weaknesses: Takes awhile to get used to. Summary: I love this receiver, it looks awesome and has a ton of different features and controls, its easy to install, lots of accessories are compatible with this, subs, amp, ipods, other mp3 players, and a few more. buyacc2424 Member Since: Feb 2007 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 1 Month	One of the best mid-high range units Strengths: Display, File formats, 3x 4V preamp outs, 7 band equalizer Weaknesses: USB adapter sold separately Summary: The Display: 16 letters per line with 3 lines, plus you can still see the words when the sun is shining on it. File formats: play MP3, ACC, WMA, WAV, and CDa. You can also control an i-pod with it if you buy a $30 adapter. 4V Preamp outs: Unlike the cheaper pioneer units which have 2.2V preamps, this one has 3 preamp outs running at 4 volts each for a cleaner, better audio signal to your amplifier. 7-Band equalizer: This unit has a built-in 7-band equalizer to fine tune your music, so you do not have to buy an external one. 80% of People (4/5) found this review helpful. Not intuitive--you must read the manual to use all the features (it's worth it, tho). Summary: Very pleased with this car stereo. Sound quality is great. Product came out in 2007 but buy it now for a budget price and excellent features/graphics. Strongly suggest you shop around for the iPod CD-1200 adapter--you will be glad you did. Along with the CD-200 for bluetooth, I never have to take my hands off the steering wheel to accept a phone call. The quality of music that comes out of this unit is the difference between night and day from my old Pioneer DEH-3600. The sound quality is superior to anything I listen to thus far.
