Remote nicely designed. Weaknesses: Fair NSTC Picture. Very poor sound quality. Summary: The picture quality from the NTSC tuner is only fair. Picture has a smeared quality. Contrast and Brightness are excellent. The sharpness control has little or no effect. The sound quality is very poor. There are several sound controls including an equalizer. I would not recommend this set unless there is a plan to use external speakers. The remote is easy to use with prominent volume and channel change controls. A good set for the kitchen. I have not tried DVD's or HDTV. The aspect is 4/3 so the HDTV picture would be somewhat small. I think it is a good purchase for the money. Weaknesses: There is a slight delay in changing channels,besides this I think it is a pretty good buy. Summary: This TV is a good bang for your buck. I have not had any problems with mine thus far. I like how I am able to mount it to a wall.
