Strengths: Generous size, affordable price, LCD display, pre-programmed electronic timer, three prong grounded electrical plug, non-stick interior coating, pull out crumb tray, broil and convection modes.
Weaknesses: Outside metal surfaces, including glass door, gets extremely hot. Constructed from low quality magnetic stainless steel. Larger footprint than ordinary toaster ovens. Takes longer to toast bread.
Summary: 2008-09-20 09:10:48 I chose this oven due to its size and features for price paid vs other models displayed at the store. I like the ability to toast more than two slices of bread. At first it looks as though it is too large and takes too much extra time to toast than a smaller oven, but it has the ability to cook larger items like a 12 inch pizza. This will save electricity by avoiding using the full size oven. The large oven would heat up the whole house, too. I recommend this convection oven to homes without younger children due to its inherent burn hazard. If not for the hot surfaces, I would have given it a five star rating.
