Weaknesses: Have been backordered and are hard to find for purchase. Summary: I have only an ice-maker that I use this filter for in the refrigerator. I have noticed even when our tap water has an unpleasant taste the filter has removed this taste from ice cubes. The only negative thing I have found is the filter does not last any longer for just the ice-maker than it recommends for the ice and water replacement time.
