Strengths: Great picture and awesome sound through headphones. Battery duration unmatched. Very compact and screen adjustability is a nice feature.
Weaknesses: Sounds somewhat tinny on external speakers, but you can't expect too much for the compactness I guess.
Summary: I did a great deal of research, and was unable to find another product of similar size and portability with this kind of battery life. It holds up to expectations.

Strengths: Color and sound is clear. The size is perfect for our use.
Weaknesses: Cannot find any.
Summary: This is my first portable dvd and I decided to buy one for our long trip overseas that can be very handy especially for my son. I have tried using this for a couple of days now and I liked it. The size of the screen is just right and the sound is good. I don't regret buying this.

1 Star ReviewJunk within five months!
Strengths: Great pic, great features while it worked, the perfect machine!
Weaknesses: Customer Service. I tried to find out what was wrong and had the maintainence code that it listed. The Panasonic customer service center did not know what the problem was nor what the code meant.
Summary: I bought this in Kabul Afghainstan while serving as a Soldier over there. It worked great at first but it eventually died. The customer service center was terrible!! They could not help, all they could say is out of warranty and don't know what that code means. None-the-less this soldier got taken for over $500. I called both the service centers after 5PM that night. Both repair shops were both greater than 60 miles from me and neither one had even an answering machine. Forget the name brand repair shops these were small, lo3cal stores which I question will know more than I about Code HO3....

Strengths: compact size, extra long battery life, great viewing angles
Weaknesses: low speaker volume
Summary: I bought this unit for a trip I took last week, and after using it for a week, I can not say enough good things about it. The battery life is wonderful - it was still going strong after 3 full movies. I gave it a charge anyway just to be sure I had juice for the ride home, but it probably would have been fine. The screen adjusts to so many angles, it is great under all light conditions. My only complaint is that the built in speakers are a bit low. The a/c in my hotel room was a bit loud and clanky and I had a bit of trouble hearing. With headphones the problem is solved. The only thing I would have added is an SD card slot to view digital pictures, but, oh well, you can't have everything. Overall, I am thrilled with the size and performance of this unit and recommend it highly.

Strengths: Top quality picture, design, fantastic built in speakers for its size. Excellent battery life.
Weaknesses: No carrying case included, must get it from after market.
Summary: I purchase this player intended to be a gift, but after using it for a few days, I've decided to keep it for myself. The player is compact, light weight, can play many types of media including dvd, cd, vcd, mp3, etc. Excellent battery life, I used it continuously for almost 3 days after I received it before I have to recharge. Picture and sound are both excellent for a unit so small. Maybe a little pricey but highly recommended.

Strengths: wireless car adapter
Weaknesses: swiveling screen
Summary: The dvd player is a great improvement over my previous one. A Magnavox I bought at Walmart. I really like the controler and all the options that it has. The swiveling screen is also an added bonus.
