Strengths: Clean, Clear, Sound
Weaknesses: Need an amp to get the desired sound
Summary: I purchased these speakers from pricegrabber.com and used them for two months without an amp. Without an amp I was very disappointed in the speakers. The highs overpowered the lows and the speakers did not have any punch at all. I was very closed to buying a different set of speakers but decided to purchase an amp first. With an amp these speakers are great. The bass kicks and the highs and lows are very clear. I paid $84 at pricegrabber but they are worth the full retail price. I don't know how speakers can possibly sound any better. (Don't purchased these speakers if you don't plan on installing an amp). With an amp I don't see how they can possibly be beat for the price.
