Strengths: Record easily from TV; wifi email; great for extra hard drive on trips; solidly built; good screen for personal use.
Weaknesses: Cannot get to work with wired interface; no external keyboard included; does not store date when rebooted.
Summary: I use mine for watching movies on long airplane or train trips. Email is a snap, although slower than a real computer, in domestic motels that mostly have wifi. Internet interface to check-in on airplanes is easy. Calendar function, along with pda function, and calculator are easy to use. Has some game software included. Can download and use Adobe Acrobat and text files. I don't consider the lack of a spreadsheet a major drawback in a small computer of this size. I can hookup an external keyboard but they are over $100 to buy for this machine. Otherwise the small "poke and prod" qwerty keyboard built in the screen is barely adequate. Touch screen of course. Can use for downloading and viewing pictures from digital camera and videos in several formats (although not including "mov"). Good machine for my use. I now have 2 since the price is low and they are small in physical size.
