 My employer bought this computer for the sales for ... Strengths: (probably) low price
Weaknesses: unreliable, not designed for imaging or other professional level applications
Summary: My employer bought this computer for the sales force. My job includes PowerPoint presentations with a lot of attached images; some Photoshop; otherwise the usual "admin" functions. I have added extra RAM (now 196mb); a second hard drive to isolate the imaging applications. The newest frame (replaced when we converted to WIN-2000 from 98) now works at 700mhz and is somewhat better. I went through three (3) of these laptops in the first 10-months due to various catastrophic failures. Longest continuous trouble-free period has been 3 or 4 months. Something is always breaking down, or software is going off-track. Obviously the buy was made on price more than performance.
