Strengths: The sound quality is wonderful. I compared them with Bose Acousitmass and Klipsh. They blew the Klipsh away, while they compared with Bose.
Weaknesses: None so far.
Summary: Subwoofer puts off a bass that will knock pictures off the wall - literally. The clarity and treble are tremendous. I have watched a couple of movies in surround and have been extremely pleased. I have also listened to a lot of music and it has blown me away. Everyone who has listened to them has said they are the best they have heard without spending several thousands of dollars on a receiver and speakers. I am using a new Sony 810 receiver, Sony 300 disc changer and the Harman Kardan HKTS 18 5.1 speakers, of which I purchased two additional HKTS 18 speakers to make it a full 7.1 systems. Total cost for me was $600 shipped. I would welcome everyone to listen to them, you will not be disappointed. And the cost was $1,000 less than Bose and they even came with the wall mounting brackets, something Bose charges an additional $30 each for. I HIGHLY recommend this for your home entertainment needs. If you have questions, I would be happy to answer any. If you like Sony, the two products I mentioned above have been great also and I recommend them in a heartbeat.

Strengths: Great sound quality, slick piano black design and right size of each unit. Powerful subwoofer.
Weaknesses: May need 7.1 to cover a bigger media room.
Summary: With 200 watts, subwoofer provides a powerful bass with certain clarity and treble. I hooked it up with my Onkyo TX_SR-606 receiver and they work well together. I watched the 'Saving private Ryan' and the treble from subwoofer made me feel the tank is at my floor. The center create tremendous power, so do all the satellite and surround units. The only complaint I have is for certain movie audio format, the sound does not come out loud. I don't have any evidence to prove that's cause by the speakers. Actually I think it is more likely to do with the audio format or the receiver. Another note, my media room is 18 by 20, by using speaker adjusting function provided by TX_SR606, the system suggested to have each unit output to 150 watt. However, the maximum output is 120 watt for this set. I am not sure this means I would need add another two surround to compensate the additional power.

Strengths: Sound quality, versatile mounting,
Weaknesses: a little large for satellite speakers, sub a little punchy
Summary: This is a really nice surround package and compliments my Onkyo TX-SR605 Receiver well.

The satellite speakers have excellent clarity even when I push them really hard. The sub really puts out the bass and this system gives my full sized Klipsch speakers a run for their money.

I completely agree with the other review that value-wise these are one of the best and would highly recommend.

For the low $400 range when these are on sale this set up really is a bargain for someone looking for a really nice speaker package and these go well with my wall mounted 42" panasonic Plasma TV.

Strengths: Awesome sound
Weaknesses: None
Summary: These speakers are awesome. The highs and mids are crystal clear. The sub puts out incredible bass. I will be purchasing a matching pair of HKTS-9's and matching stands. These speakers are worth the money spent.

Strengths: Solid booming bass, great sound from satelites, crisp voice from center channel.
Weaknesses: Heavy packaging. Should have been shipped in two containers rather than one big one.
Summary: Thanks to pricegrabber I found this set of speakers at a great price. Less than 400$ shipped from Amazon. The only problem I had with them was that they shipped in a monster size very heavy box. The sub woofer puts out great strong bass, and the satelite speakers have rich sound. The appearance of the set is appealing as well. The sub woofer has an automatic switch that shuts the system off when it is not receiving a signal. The system also came with all cables needed for hookup, and speaker mounts for all the satelite speakers. I used heavier wiring to hook mine up, but I am sure the supplied cables will be adequate for most setups.

Strengths: build quality, design, sound, wall mounts included
Weaknesses: price
Summary: so far so good. they sound nice so far. there was an issue with the subwoofer where it was putting of some wierd sound like there was a bad connection to it when i first started using it with my dvd player, but after using it with the radio without that issue i assume its either the dvd player or receiver.
