Strengths: warnings are clear & loud, installation instructions are very clear
Weaknesses: none so far
Summary: purchased 4 units to replace my old expired fire alarms and to be up to IL code (instead of purchasing just CO alarms). no regrets on this model.
installation were easy and fast. however, do note that the battery should not be activated before plugging into the wires. also, the warnings are very very loud but clear. do put on ear plugs when testing the units (we did not and had ringing in our ears for a few minutes).
as for the CO alarm, i noticed that the green light blinks (i think about 15-30 seconds intervals) which shows that
the alarm is taking CO measurements.
if there's any fault/ weaknesses, i'll update this review. otherwise, an excellent buy!!
