Strengths: Can't think of anything good.
Weaknesses: Only short titles allowed (8 characters), it has no RF converter in it so you can't connect it directly using coaxial cable. You can't default the output to the output used.
Summary: After two months of being connected, the unit completely locked up; it wouldn't do anything to include turn off. I tried unplugging the unit and know the power will not come on. Technical support is a joke, they have decent hours of availability, but they have a list of 7 issues; if your problem is not one of those issues, you're out-of-luck. You get to send the unit back (with a check for $6.00 for shipping) and within 3 weeks, you should receive a replacement unit. But this is when it's in warranty (1 year), I was told that these units are only good for about 9 months and they stop working (this is only rumor, but since mine locked up after 2 months, I have a tendency to believe it). After the warranty is over, if it breaks, throw it in the trash and buy something good. The manual is terrible, it only tells you about half of what you need. The operation of the unit is not easy and if you try to finalize a DVD+R or lock a DVD+RW at the wrong time, the unit locks up and you have to unplug it to get everything reset.
