Strengths: Clear picture, good sound, lots of accessories including carry bag and remote control
Weaknesses: None that I can see so far
Summary: I was concerned about ordering a DVD player sight unseen and followed other's reviews. This is a great player with a larger widescreen format, bright clear picture, and good sound. It comes in a nice bag with all needed accessories except earphones. I am very pleased with the quality for money spent. I would definitely buy this product again and recommend it to others.

 I also own a panasonic LA-85, the go vid price is ... Strengths: price! decent quality for price, size
Weaknesses: sound, some noise when playing, awkward battery, difficult to locate agressive priced acessories
Summary: I also own a panasonic LA-85, the go vid price is about 1/4 of the panasonic so it tough to compare, the go video is adequate; I use a bose noise reduction headset and that helps somewhat although ironically the headset costs more than the player......worth the price if u get a good deal, i purchased thru buy.com with a 25$ new buyer bonus which brought the price below the lowest pg price. all in all worth the money, but just. If you have the money and you will really be using a portab le dvd player i would upgrade and go with a panasonic or samsung unit, there are agressive promotions around

Strengths: Plays well and without deley. Picture quality is very good and sound is not bad either.
Weaknesses: None at this time. Happy with preformance and price.
Summary: Would recommend to anyone who travels frequently with kids.Two headphone jacks are a plus, when you don't what to hear the movie for the 25th time.

Strengths: Low price, good picture
Weaknesses: Poor speakers
Summary: I was shopping for a low cost portable player for our children and this is an excellent value. The picture quality is very good with a wide viewing angle from the sides. The screen is bright and easy to see in most lighting. The controls are good and the remote and AV out cable that are included make it a good player for hotels when you are on the road. Another nice feature is that it has an AV in for connecting an external source like a PS2, etc. (You will need adapters for this). The sound from the speakers is poor so plan on using it with headphones or external speakers. It has two headphone jacks. It is a bit loud when the DVD is spinning up or seeking, but it is fairly quiet during playback. The battery lasts about three hours.

Strengths: Excellent display, super thin, all possible adapters/chargers, easy to use
Weaknesses: Clunky battery
Summary: Best Bang for the buck!, as sleek as a sony, quality as good as a sony/panasonic and for almost half the price. I had my doubts about this product when i first purchased it, but i like it so much, am buying a second one for a friend of mine, not quite sure about the battery life since i usually connect it either to the car adapter provided or the universal world-charger. The bag that comes with it is amazing, holds my DVD's as well as all the cords/cables. Excellent product, the fact that i just bought my second one says it all

Strengths: - Plays all format DVDs (DVD+R, DVD-R, etc)
- Fits in between my car's driver and passenger seat perfectly
- Comes with Home and Car power adapter
- Comes with it's own carrying case
Weaknesses: - A bit clunky
- A bit noisy
Summary: I've seen many portable DVD players, and I honestly purchased the player because of its features. I was specifically looking for a player that can support my DVD copies, because I don't want to take my expensive originals out of their boxes and on the road with me.
The image quality is very good, and I really like the widescreen. The sound quality is poor, but that's typical for this size. I got around this problem by getting an FM transmitter to go along with the unit so that I can use my car's stereo as the sound system - works nice.
The other major advantages is that the product can be powered by it's battery, AC, or DC adapter.
The looks of the product are so-so, as I've seen cleaner designs. The door for the DVD drive is a bit clunky, and there's a bit more noise than I was expecting, but acceptable.
I would definately purchase this unit again.

Strengths: Price, good sharp picture, large assortment of accessories included
Weaknesses: Can be a little on the noisy side
Summary: Was leery at first due to previous experience with brand, but have been very pleased with this item. Excellent picture and wide screen options, for less money than players with smaller screens. As usual with these devices, mediocre sound but solved that with FM transmitter to play through car stereo, which rocks! Came with all the accessories you would ever need except headphones, but thats what the transmitters for. Makes some noise when spinning up, but tolerable. Would definitely buy this product again.

Liked this product!!!
Strengths: structure is nice with the rubber like texture.
Weaknesses: Seems battery life is not that great...
Summary: I am happy with this product but when I got it, it kinda smelled like burning electrical.... I guess it has gone away because I don't smell it any more.. but this is a nice little portable DVD player.

Strengths: Picture quality, weight, inputs/outputs, screen size, price
Weaknesses: plastic parts seem a little "thin".
Summary: My kids love this thing. The picture quality is better than I expected. But, some of the parts seem very delicate. I like the fact that that a TV tuner can be added.
