Strengths: Stereo Bluetooth, Reception!, lightweight, camera,
Weaknesses: none at this time
Summary: This is my first bluetooth telephone, I upgraded from the Sanyo 4930. This phone has Stereo Bluetooth. What I like most about this phone is the great reception, even inside of buildings! The stereo speakers are also superb! Some have complained that this phone appears to be "cheap plastic" externally (even cnet.com), but I do not feel this way, as it feels solid to me and the external plastic, not cheap to me, makes it lightweight which is great for carrying in my pocket. I love the camera, 1gb internal memory, the colorful lcd screen, the user controls, a host of other features, just everything! I am hooked on this phone! It would be a "perfect" phone if it had a slot for a memory card. I was afraid it would be too small for adult male hands, but it is just fine. A phone that is similar to this phone is the Samsung SPH-M610; the Samsung only beats the M1 in regards to a bigger & better display, but U don't buy a phone 4 the display, you buy a phone primarily to put 2 your ears for the reception & speakers, etc.! Also, the display on the M1 is just fine. Cnet.com also gives the Sanyo M1 a better review over the Samsung M610. BTW, I am one picky consumer & I highly reccommed the Sanyo M1 phone. I paid full-price for the phone, as I did not want to change my great Sprint plan I already have. This phone runs (full price, without a new or upgraded Sprint phone plan) about $350+tax [about $375 total after tax] at the Sprint store. However, I got the M1 phone at online auction, new, for $310 shipped!
