Strengths: Small and compact. Easy to install and use no driver required.
Weaknesses: Quite Pricey.
Summary: I just got this mouse for my friend to replace her broken one. She liked it very much. The color fits perfectly with her current VAIO laptop. It is very easy to install. She is novice in computers but she can do it herself. It is small and compact but still comfortable.

Strengths: Small, lightweight, silky smooth and very comfortable.
Weaknesses: Zero! (Except it won't change channels on the plasma TV)
Summary: I can't believe some people complain about this mouse. Folks, this is a $20 mouse! (that's what I paid for it here, OEM model) What do you expect, a built in monitor?
I'm a big guy (big hands) and my wife is very petite (small hands). We both think this is a very comfortable mouse for our three laptops; we own three of these mice. The neighbor lady also likes the feel of this mouse (she comes over when my wife is out of town). When on the floor or in the car with the small mobile laptop I move the mouse on my knee, thigh, hand or other places I am not at liberty to mention here (works great on almost any surface). Someone complained because this mouse didn't work well on their carpeting! Good grief, why not install hardwood floors!
It has very good battery life, OK range (those that complain about the range...do they have the laptop/receiver in the living room and the mouse in the dining room?), very cheap, smooth and nice looking. The newer versions have an improved receiver. Yes, you have to snap the receiver into the mouse when done to turn the power off and save on battery life (this takes all of 3 seconds).
We feel this is an excellent mouse for this price range.

Strengths: Easy use, convenient, long lasting battery
Weaknesses: none so far
Summary: My roommate purchased this mouse after read the online reviews. She highly recommended it to me so I purchased two, one for me and one for my sister. I really love this mouse for the size, convenient use and the color. I travel requently, it doesn't occupy much space and works well with my cute Dell Inspiron 700m notebook. I highly recommend this product.

Strengths: Small size, wireless, optical
Weaknesses: none so far
Summary: I used a wired mouse on my laptop because I hate having the touchpad turned on when I am typing (always ended up typing on another line if my palm touched the pad). The corded mouse was cheap but it was always getting tangled up. With this wireless optical mouse no more wires, hoorah. I don't travel with it so I can't complain that it is larger than other mice designed to be portable. Nice ergonomics, pleasing color. Highly recommended.

Strengths: Energy efficient.
Weaknesses: none
Summary: It has a ok design if you like it, and it's very protable and energy efficient. It is easier to hold in hand and a reasonable signal reception range. Overall it's a good wireless mouse with affordable price.

Strengths: Good size (medium) - light, nice feedback from scroll wheel.
Weaknesses: Does not have extra buttons - eg for page forward, backward
Summary: This is a well designed and portable mouse designed by mircrosoft - ideal for laptops. The receiver has no cable and attaches to the USB port. Range is more than adequate on a desktop. The mouse itself runs on a single AA battery. No software is needed - it works directly with Windows XP. Only negative is a lack of extra page forward/backward buttons.

Strengths: small, comfortable, nice looking, snap-in receiver
Weaknesses: no manual on-off switch, a little thick (especially with the receiver snapped in)
Summary: This is my 4th Microsoft optical mouse, just like other Microsoft mouses I own, it is smooth, comfortable and accurate. I like the snap-in receiver design, it's perfect for my laptop. However, there is no manual on-off switch on the mouse, so I have to unplug the receiver and put it back to the mouse to save the battery, not a big problem though. I wish there were a side buttern on this mouse, like Microsoft InteliMouse. Overall, it's a very good wireless optical mouse for laptops. I would buy again.

Strengths: Small, Resonalble price, and Practical
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: This mouse is a must for notebook person. It's small and practical. I got a good deal from Buy.com plus MIR and $5 from PriceGrabber. There is no on-off switch but if you put the usb back to the mouse, it will turn off the mouse automatically. It will save the battery for you. The signal is very good. I have no problem about it so far. I would highly recommended.
