2 Star ReviewDisappointed
Strengths: Great sound quality, fits in ears well, comfortable.
Weaknesses: Sound hollow at first, breaks easily and quick.
Summary: For about the first month or two when I had these earphones, I was very impressed. Soon after that however it began to fall apart. Every time I took it out of my ears part of it would come of partially, but that was alright, I just had to push it back in. But then it came all the way off, and when I tried to push it back in as usual it broke. Now the wire on the other ear is broken as well.

I did not throw my earphones around, or be rough with them. They broke from simple everyday use in as little as three months. I'm disappointed.

Strengths: Great sound quality, noise isolation really works, good price
Weaknesses: not white for ipod
Summary: Bought EP-630 for few days and I really like it. The noise isolation really works. I can enjoy music on streets or my office with low volume. I figured it's good for my ears. For the low price tag, it is really a good buy.

Strengths: Great sound and quality. Comfortable
Weaknesses: No Case
Summary: These earphones fit comfortably in your ears for extended periods of time. The sound is great, although i have not tested it yet while flying on a plane. I have these to replace the earphones that come with the Ipod. There are three adjustable earbud sizes that come in the package. Overall a good buy for EP earphones with an affordable price.

Strengths: Rich sound 3 Sizes of ear plugs Soft cord
Weaknesses: Needs more bass if you want to have subwoofer sound
Summary: Like many of you, I always used the headphones or earphones that came with my audio player. If they broke, I went to the local store and bought something simple (I don't want something too fancy) that looked about the same. Those new earphones sounded about the same and so everything was fine. I continued listening to music.

After a while, I began reading on the internet about these certain headphones, EP-630's being one of them, as having extraordinary sound and an amazing value. I still wondered what the difference would be; after all, they are earphones. You can't fit a 5 foot speaker inside a 4mm hole.

When I found a good deal on these, I decided to leap in and find out what everyone was talking about.

I will never go back again.

These headphones sound like a home theater system in your ear! Mind you, this is coming from a person that has listened to cheap headphones his whole life, but I think many of you are in the same boat as I am. I have a number of stereo and surround sound systems at home, but never upgraded my headphones for some reason. I guess I just didn't think they could really fit decent sound in something so small. This blew me away.

These earphones provide crisp, clear bass. The treble is not tinny like cheap earphones, but rather more balanced. These earphones cover the whole range- treble, midrange, and bass - fairly well.

The plugs seal your ear well, which helps with the sound quality. There aren't a lot of outside sounds coming in, and soundwaves stay in - which means you don't have to blast the volume just to listen to your music, which very much helps the quality.

They give you extra plugs (both bigger and smaller) in order to give you a perfect fit if these don't stay in.

The cord is soft and flows naturally with you, unlike some cheap earphones.

This may sound funny, but the plastic clear case it came in is durable enough that I use it to house my earphones when I throw it in my bag.

The quality of the sound is outstanding. For this price, it's worth trying. It's the best value for earphones on the market - similar ones range from $40 - $120. This is a great deal.

Don't wait. If you need new earphones, get this. You won't regret it.

Strengths: Affordable; crisp, clear sound; not overly boomy
Weaknesses: Cord is a little long, easily tangles
Summary: I ordered these phones after my last pair of Sony's went belly-up. After looking around, I came across a number of comments indicating that these headphones were a great combination of price and performance--and they are!

The silicone plugs are very comfortable and keep the phones snugly in your ears (3 different-sized plugs are included for different-sized ears). The sound is very crisp and clear on the high end, and not too boomy on the bass end (a problem with my older Sony headphones).

My only complaint has to do with the cord. At 4 feet long, it's easy for it to get tangled (my other headphones have cords that are about 3 feet long). Also, the cord has a slightly "grippy" rubberized texture, which means that when it does get tangled, it's a little more difficult to untangle (it likes to "stick" to itself). Other than that, though, I'm very impressed and would recommend these phones to everyone.

Strengths: definitely the best in-earphone with this price, and good quality. Fit in the ear good
Weaknesses: More cord noise from movement with cloths, wind
Summary: Considering the good quality and low price, I would definitely recommend this in-ear phone if some one is seeking a similar product. Fit into your ipod or mp3 and enjoy the amazing sounds!

3 Star ReviewCreative Labs in-ear EP-630
Strengths: Price; noise isolation; crisp sound
Weaknesses: Bass is weak; no case
Summary: For less than $30, what a bargain! Sound is crisp, but a bit thin. Bass is fairly weak. If you like lots of bass, this product probably isn't good enough for you.

3 Star ReviewEP-630 Earphones
Strengths: Acceptible sound, great price
Weaknesses: Insecure insertion
Summary: The EP-630s have an excellent price and fairly good sound, but they don't feel secure in my ears; while walking, I'm afraid they'll fall out. They haven't yet, but...

Strengths: Great sound, Durable, Comfortable, Good Price
Weaknesses: None
Summary: These are the best headphone i have ever owned and they came with my Dell Computer about a year ago. The sound is great and the bass is just the right level in my opinion. I have absolutely no complaints about these headphones and plan on buying a new pair when my the ones i have eventually break, if they ever do.

Strengths: For the money, you can't beat these ear buds. They do an amazing job of blocking external noise and the base response is impressive.
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I got a pair 2 years ago and loved them immediately. After my backpack was stolen a month ago, I purchased another pair of EP-630 ear buds.

Strengths: Good sound quality for the price.
Weaknesses: looks flimsy. Bass is not the best I've seen. No volume control.
Summary: According to various claims, this Creative EP-630 is identical to Sennheiser CX3000. There are a lot of fake ones for these earphones, so be careful when you buy one.

I compared it against a few other earbuds:

Bass (in increasing order):

Shure E2C < Creative EP630 < Sony MDR-EX71 < Skullcandy FMJ 11mm

Treble/Cripness:

Skullcandy FMJ 11mm < Sony MDR-EX71 < Creative EP630 < Shure E2C

Confort:

Shure E2C < Skullcandy FMJ < Sony MDR-EX71 = Creative EP630

Volume (may be due to how old each one is):

Sony MDR-EX71 < Shure E2C < Skullcandy FMJ < Creative EP630

Strengths: The sound quality is remarkably good, considering the price of these headphones. They are comfortable to the ear and come with different size earbud tips. Also they come with a carrying case.
Weaknesses: Perhaps not the choice for audiophiles, but very decent sound for the gym, etc.
Summary: I was so impressed with the sound for the price that I bought another pair for my son, who says that they are great at blocking outside noise while having very decent sound quality. The carrying case is very helpful for protection when tossing in my computer bag or my son's backpack.

Strengths: Price, comfort, Sound Quality, high volume output
Weaknesses: none
Summary: The issue with in ear and ear bud headphones, is that their quality is fully and completly dependent on wearign them correctly. If they are not in the right spot of your ear you lose most of the audio and you get poor sound.

Strengths: Reasonable sound isolation, generally good sound quality, comes with earbuds in 3 sizes, comfortable to wear
Weaknesses: Somewhat lacking details in midrange and highs, doesn't come with pouch or case
Summary: I bought this pair of creative earphones, which is very similar to my Sennheiser cx300 except for the Y-cord design, which I personally like better.

As for sound quality, it lacks details that the more expensive CX300 has. It tends to just thump out bass strongly without outputting clarity in the highs.

It is comfortable to wear and I can listen to it for 1+ hr.

I wish that the cords don't tangle so badly or that they give us a case to store.

Strengths: great fit, light, sound blocking, decent bass
Weaknesses: very thin wire, tangle easily
Summary: These in-ear headphones make a great replacement for my iPod. They sound very good without having to spend a lot. I plan to use them for exercise, so I was searching for something small and light in an in-ear design that blocks some outside noise. These are great for that. The 3 included earpiece sizes make sure that they will fit anyone. I like these a lot and would buy again.

My only complaint is that the wires seem a bit thin and fragile and have that silicone sticky texture to the rubber so they tangle easily.
