Strengths: Great flat screen, good black border, easy to mount.
Weaknesses: Pulldown mechanics feel weak
Summary: I am projecting output from a Panasonic PT-L500U from 10' on this screen. The screen was mounted from the ceiling using a couple hooks I purchased from a local hardware store. Before I had the screen we were using a sheet on the wall and I wondered if I really needed a screen. Once I installed the screen there was no question that I made the right decision. The black border and the flat surface make a huge difference in the quality of the picture.

On the negative side, I am a little concerned about the quality of the pull down mechanics and occasionally the screen doesn't fully retract, requiring a new pull down and snap up to get it all the way up.

Strengths: High contrast material. Tension bar. Black border surrounding entire picture.
Weaknesses: Screen must have been very recently manufactured because it had a slight odor for the first few days. No longer a problem.
Summary: I ordered this screen to replace a screen that I had made from projector screen material stretched over a wooden frame. This served its purpose but the dalite deluxe model b was a great upgrade. The high contrast material makes for darker blacks and grays in the picture which is a weak point for a lot of projectors. The tension bar provides a solid background without waves in the picture which are noticeable in a non-tensioned screen. Lastly do not underestimate the importance of a black border around your screen. This greatly improves the picture. The image displayed on pricegrabber does not show the black border at the top and bottom of the picture, but it is present on the deluxe model b. I highly recommend it.
