2 Star ReviewSW: Lethal Alliance
Strengths: not much, easy for the kids
Weaknesses: lots, see below
Summary: I’m a big Star Wars fan, but this title was disappointing. I knew I wasn’t going to be playing a familiar character (no lightsabres, no force powers) but this title seemed to be a generic action title with a Star Wars background. The main character is uninteresting, the gameplay was overly linear and the puzzles were not thought provoking and easy. Stay away from this title if possible…unless it was free and you have spare time to burn.

Strengths: Cameos from popular series characters, good use of DS controls in droid levels, solid audio, multiplayer support
Weaknesses: Weak targeting system, uninspired level design, linear game play, too easy for most players
Summary: Bridging the gap between Episodes 3 and 4, Lethal Alliance puts players in the role of alien mercenary Rianna Saren and her droid Zeeo. While the story doesn't go anywhere, a decent mix of action and puzzle-solving and numerous cameos from popular series characters keep the game interesting.

As a third-person shooter, Lethal Alliance is a mixed bag. The auto-target function frequently picks the wrong enemy for you, and sometimes it doesn't target any enemies at all. Still, the shooting action never becomes difficult, and the puzzles and DS controlled droid levels make up for some of this.

Lethal Alliance is better than the average Star Wars title, but it could have been great with a bit more polish. Star Wars fans will like this game, and its low difficulty will keep beginners happy. For $20 or less, you could do a lot worse in the sci-fi genre.

3 Star ReviewStar Wars Games RULE!
Strengths: Star Wars... What could be better?
Weaknesses: Only problem I found was the controls and how you navigate in the game. Really sucks. I expected much easier controls. I guess I am used to PC Star Wars games.
Summary: Interesting game but I really haven't gotten that far due to the fact that the controls suck. I was really not impressed by how unintuitive they were. I thought they would be better (the controls that is). Anyway... If you love Star Wars I am sure you can look past the controls...
