Strengths: Compact, Quiet, and a Great Value Weaknesses: So far, nothing of note Summary: This will be used eventually in a college dorm room, and it meets the requirement for a 700 Watt unit, that is compact, in a limited space. Will be used a lot for leftovers, beverages, popcorn, and frozen food. So far it is getting it done--i.e. did a good job on popcorn--simple and easy to use. Could have additional auto cook options such as pasta sauce reheating, frozen veggies and popcorn. 2. Does not have a door release button and hence the door needs to be pulled open. Summary: The first thing which struck me about this product was its pricing. Despite being a quality product from Whirlpool, it was much cheaper than similar products from other manufacturers. Cooking in this microwave is great since it ensures uniform heating. Cleaning is simple since the glass turntable plate can be easily removed and is dishwasher safe. Overall a great product which is user friendly. Have not had a necessity to contact the customer service of Whirlpool for this product, but based on past experiences, it is a great company to deal with. Summary: This microwave was definitely worth the ridiculous low price. Small enough to fit into small tight spaces yet strong enough to do moderate cooking projects. Easy to clean.
