2 Star ReviewNot very safe on the road
Strengths: Great sound, love the front panel AUX input for Sirius unit
Weaknesses: NO REMOTE!
Summary: This model needs a remote! The big knob on the left adjusts the volume. When you lightly press on the knob, it'll also adjusts EQ, Treb, Bass, Fade, Bal, etc. Go for the volume, and touch the knob just a wee bit too hard, instead of the volume you find yourself adjusting some of the afore mentioned settings instead. This causes you to take your eyes off of the road to see what you've been adjusting other than the volume! Very dangerous indeed.

2 Star ReviewLook for other one
Strengths: It has most of the functions that you will use in your car. It also comes with aux input in front which is great for your mp3 player, pda, etc.
Weaknesses: Like the other reviewer said, the big knob on the left controls not only volumn but also sound settings. It is very easy to push it too hard. I wish there is a way to lock it.
Summary: This is a pretty nice in-dash player with a lot of functions. However there are something I don't like:

(1) the big knob I mentioned before.

(2) you have to push the "off" button more than one time to switch to "standby" mode. It goes like "tuner-> cd-> standby". And I can imagine if you have other inputs (aux), you need to keep pressing until it reaches standby mode. If missed it, you have to press it until it goes to standby again. Very inconvenient.

I'd return this player if I bought it locally. Definitely look for other player.
