It is a modest improvement over 2K6. The graphics are only slightly improved from the first 360 effort, which is somewhat disappointing. The biggest improvement is in the sound and voice work. Also, they added a feature where you can create your own crowd chant, which is great fun to use against friends. On the gameplay front, the big addition is the "team unity" measure which will change throughout the season depending on several factors and can effect your performance either way. The deep legacy mode is still intact and the online play is as stellar as always. Since this is no longer the most current game (that being 2K8 at the moment with 2K9 out not too long from now) this game ought to be dirt cheap. It is well worth a pickup for anyone who wants to dabble in College basketball on the 360. This version probably provides the best value at the moment. Was this review helpful or unhelpful for you? The audio is absolutely terrific. Turn up the volume and you feel like you're at a college basketball game. Weaknesses: Below average graphics for the 360. Gameplay is slightly below average. Summary: This is fun if you're a big college basketball fan. Get some buddies and play with your schools. Some of the advanced controls take a while to master, but it makes the game more enjoyable. If you've played NBA 2K7, it is basically the same (probably the same engine and everything). If you are looking for an addicting basketball game you can't get enough of, this is NOT it.
