Strengths: Easy to read time (analog display), world time, alarms, sturdy, expensive looks, other loads of features
Weaknesses: Difficult to resize band, no seconds hand (not really a con but a tad surprising)
Summary: Let's get the cons out of the way first:

When I opened the box the first thing I noticed was that the dial was not blue, but a bit purple/blue which doesn't bother me.

The second thing I encountered was the band which was very difficult to resize. (Searched on the web and found a rudimentary two-screwdriver method which surprisingly worked.)

I was surprised that the watch lacks a seconds hand. I am used to the presence of a seconds hand even though I rarely have use for it. It took some time adjusting to the lack thereof.

The watch also has only 4 buttons on the circumference which control the boatload of features (including setting the analog time!) so the combination of button presses is a little engaging. Store the manual in a safe place, or download a pdf version from Casio's site.

On to the pros:

What I first look for in a watch is the ability to read time. Between the analog and digital display, it is very easy to read the time, day/date and daylight-savings setting.

It has an expensive watch look, yet is light weight. It is so comfortable that I tend to forget that it is on my hand, and end up wearing it throughout the day and night.

I frequently call international locations so the world time mode helps me. It is not fun calling a person in the middle of the night across the globe and getting yelled at!

The snoozeable alarm is good for waking up daily.

The data bank is OK to store some emergency numbers. It is a bit of a hassle to enter them.

There are also the timer and stopwatch features that are handy and fun.

Casio claims that the battery will last 10 years. Even if it lasts half that time, it is a great deal.

Overall, this watch is great value for the sub-20 price range.

2 Star ReviewNice watch ;Not as expected
Strengths: cheap (got it from amazon );Good build ;
Weaknesses: Dial is not as shown in the photo (color seems different) when you have it in your hand actually
Summary: Well i guess i expected too much from this watch, the dial came out duller (not as shown in the photo) that was a bit disappointing.Well it was not for me anyway .Seems half the weight of my fossil (the fossil really feels solid) and half the price too .Difficult to set the digital alarm ;tried to figure it out but gave up on it ;Have'nt had the time to go through the manual yet

Strengths: Very attractive, nice blue/purple face. I think a photo of it should be in the ad.
Weaknesses: Several settings.....I am sure it will prove to be fine, just seemed a bit much at fist look.
Summary: I bought this watch for a co-worker at Christmas. He was so excited about it. He could not even begin to imagine how much I spent & was just sure it was very expensive. He said his son will need to set up all of the settings since the manual was such small print. Everyone at the party thought it was a very sharp looking time piece. The 10 year battery impressed everyone. I for one felt glad to get a great deal that so many felt was valuable. I would recommend this affordable & beautiful watch.

Strengths: Metal band, analog + digital, multiple alarms, world time
Weaknesses: Digital & analog time must be set separately
Summary: I bought this watch for very cheap (< $25 from Amazon). It doesn't even feel like a cheap watch. The armband is made of metal so it won't break like other cheap watches, and it can be adjusted to one of four lengths. The analog arms glow in the dark, and there's a light as well. Multiple features include 30 telememo records, 3 separate alarms, stopwatch, timer, and world time.

In all, this watch is an excellent buy for its value.

Strengths: Decent construction quality. Nice finish.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I bought this watch as a present for one of my cousins. I took it out of the box and had a look at it when it arrived. It looked like a pretty decent watch, with a sturdy look and feel. All in all, a good watch at a good price.
