Strengths: Great outdoor sound, clean lines, color options, dependability and durability
Weaknesses: Cost
Summary: Other than needing external wiring (by electrician), this system provides great outdoor sound options. It sounds terrific if you are entertaining for many or one. Very durable and water-proof. While costs are more, name and durability to the elements were most important.

Strengths: Speakers sound great, mounting hardware included and simple to use, pure white color belnds in with exterior siding.
Weaknesses: For best sound these speakers have to be mounted horizontally - this could limit mounting options.
Summary: I purchased these speakers to use in a three season room. They blend in nicely with the white siding on my house and were easy to mount and hook up (I am using these as extension speakers from my Pioneer receiver). As you would expect from a Bose product, the sound is crisp and clear – big sound from relatively small speakers. The instructions included were complete and they even included a chart of wire gauge by length needed to safely connect to my receiver.

Strengths: Easy to install Sound great Aesthetically pleasing in a very visible location
Weaknesses: Expensive
Summary: I bought these for a screened in porch that we just finished building. The room won't get a lot of direct weather, but it will see pretty high humidity. I love these speakers. The room sounds great, whether we have the glass or screens in the windows.

Additionally, they look good on the wall.

Overall, they are significantly more speaker then I needed for this small room, but i'm glad I have them. No complaints.
