Strengths: Excellent picture when viewed on high definition signal. Nice look and very convenient for mounting. Anti glare screen is a definite plus. Sound from the internal speakers is awesome. Overall A-
Weaknesses: Blurry when not watching High Definition Signal.
Summary: Overall very strong television with clean lines and great photo and sound capabilities. I would highly recommend this television set for Movie Watchers and Television watchers alike. I used digital 1234 for my purchase and was very pleased with the price and speed of delivery. I recommend them too.

Strengths: Great picture, great sound. Lots of inputs to satisfy the most demanding AV phile
Weaknesses: Lights too front in the screen reflects back.
Summary:

I like this TV very much. I got it from digital1234.com. I would buy this Tv and from them again any day. They were nice enough to give me a refund for the price drop which occurred (after my purchase, but before my TV arrived) As regards to the actual TV itself, I am very pleased with the vibrant picture, picture clarity and PC hookup ability. It even has HDMI input for future STBs/DVD players. Unpacking and mounting on the TV niche was a breeze. My wife gave me a hand and it was all set. All in all I have nothing but praises for it. My only gripe is that I have to turn off the main light (which happens to be on the ceiling in the middle of the room, right in front of the Tv) and use a side light, otherwise the light reflects back at you. Daytime viewing is very good as long as you don't have too much light falling directly on the screen.

Strengths: awesome picture, tru colors, great HD picture, non-glare screen, can view from various angles, light weight, not too wide - bottom speakers, great sound with the new SRS TruSurround XT technology
Weaknesses: No digital output, but with DVD and surround system you bypass this
Summary: Chose DLP to LCD (looked at JVC models with bottom speakers) for the true colors and and image depth. Picture is superior to the rest of the products on the market and with the new 74 series coming, the prices for the 63 series are going down - now 56" is around $2,300. The slim design is a good fit for entertainment centers. Hookup is easy with my Comcast Cable and Digital Box from Motorola. I have a 5+1 surround system and HD programs and DVDs are amazing on the new screen - no big difference watching form various angles, which is another plus in addition to the two tuner split screen PIP.

Strengths: great picture, great sound, found great price on price grabber through Digital1234.com
Weaknesses: Sometimes "fan" will make some noise to "cool off" the projector wheel. Usually only for a minute or two. Wish the non-HDTV programs would be full screen, but still a great picture, albeit in 4:3
Summary: DLP definately the way to go. Picture is superior to most similar products on the market and priced at about half what an HDTV plasma set would cost and better than the EDTV picture on most plasmas. Thin design (about 16") is a space saver and hookup is easy with my Comcast Cable and Digital Box from Motorola. Now working on putting together the home theatre compponents. The 56" set is great for our bedroom - love the large screen and HDTV picture. Just wish the programs not in High Def would be full screen. Used a DVI hookup with Digital Cable Box - the way to go

3 Star ReviewWe chose in part due to the non-glare screen as we ...
Strengths: Non-glare screen, 50/50 PIP screen split, lightweight, good HD picture
Weaknesses: No digital audio out, without HD picture quality is poor.
Summary: We chose in part due to the non-glare screen as we have a very bright room. We didn't have HD cable for a few days and the picture without it was terrible. Once we got HD life was good. Our only real gripe is that the unit does not have digital audio out. This makes the PIP & PIP swap practically useless when set up with a home theater system.

3 Star Reviewafisher10 from AL
Strengths: Bright and great picture. Lots of inputs.
Weaknesses: No HD tuner. Poor remote control.
Summary: Beware if you plan to teach the controls to a universal remote control. There are no IR codes to select specific inputs. Instead the active inputs are only available by stepping to them through a fixed loop sequence. It takes 3 steps to get to the input (source) list and then up to 5 more steps to get from one input to another. So even if your universal remote allows the programming of macros, it could take up to 8 steps to get from TV to TiVo with one button. And even then that button will not go to TiVo if starting from say the VCR input because that is a different number of input steps.
