Strengths: Great value. An original battery, a higher quality strap by Canon, and a Canon leather pouch are included. Useful accessories showing good quality.
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: For any Canon Digital Camera, an additional battery pack is always welcome so that while one is being charged or stored away after use, the second pack may come into play so that none of those Kodak moments may slip away.
The battery is the same as the one that came included with my Canon SD550 and so works just as well.
As for the Canon strap, I find its a really nice additional accessory but its a little long for my taste. It's possible to be used as a neck strap for your compact digital camera or to provide extra leverage on your camera by offering a longer length. I'm fine using the original strap that came with my camera. Perhaps I'll use this one when my original strap wears out.
And last but not least, the infamous leather pouch. It encompasses the camera only and nothing else. It's a perfect fit for any of the listed Canon Digital Cameras and will surely protect your investment as I purchased one of these cases by Canon separately (way back when I owned my Canon Powershot S230 Digital Camera. It kept my investment scratch free for more than 2 years.).
I would highly recommend against trying to slip or place other objects or accessories along with the camera as those will surely provide the friction to cause cosmetic abrasions and perhaps even damage to your camera. If you need extra room, this is not the case to get.
As for those who use a strap, there is a perforation to slip your strap through the hole so that you may carry the camera by the strap with its case on. This is very handy unlike some third party camera cases.
I would highly recommend this entire package as a much needed accessory for the supported Canon Digital Camera models.
