Strengths: Nice picture; ability to play one DVD while changing others; very configurable/customizable; high marks from leading consumer magazine in performance and, I believe, reliability.
Weaknesses: Owners manual & website support worst I have seen for A/V products; player is quite deep (barely fits in my entertainment center.
Summary: I obtained this player at a good price due to it being new, but last year's model. Although I have only had this player several days, I do like the player overall. In addition to the strengths listed above, it does not make a "pop" through my speakers each time the "enter" button is pressed as my previous POS single disk player did. It does have a 1 yr. Parts warranty, which is as good as the best players at this price level (no 90-day Parts warranty).
