Summary: I've used this product for about 4 years now on my Whirlpool refrigerator. The filter creates clean looking and clean tasting water that is comparable if not better tasting than bottled water. Product recommends that you change the filter every six months, but that depends upon useage. Since I have a baby, I use it for her formula in addition to cooking and drinking water, so we're talking a lot of water consumption. My filter gets replaced (according to my refrigerator) every 4 months. It's not as cheap as pitcher filters, but far out performs them with regard to taste and convenience. Recommended.
