Strengths: Game feels huge, lots to do, tries some different things in terms of aiming
Weaknesses: Seems like graphics should be better, getting used to new aiming can take a bit of practice
Summary: Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007 is a fun golf game for the PS3. I hadn't played a Tiger Woods game in years and was surprised at how big the game has become in terms of features and things to do. The first thing you have to do is create your player which can be a full play session in and of itself with all of the options provided! Tiger Woods 07 changes the aiming and shot control quite a bit, but in a way it feels much more like you're golfing and less like you're in a timing competition to press buttons at exactly the right time. You can't quite aim exactly where you want the ball to go, you have to rotate around and basically aim to the general direction you want to hit it. This adds a bit of unpredictability to the game while still being fun. It can take a while to learn how to master, though. You'll find yourself shooting all over the place for a while. There are tons of modes and options to explore, which will keep you busy. If you like videogame golf this is an excellent game, although it probably wouldn't be enough for a non-fan to give it a try. I've actually read that Tiger Woods 2008 is a bit of a step backwards so it might be worth picking up 2007 if you haven't already! 4 stars-- solid game, minor flaws, worth checking out.
