I tried this on my husband and he will never let it anywhere near his head again. Only when the lever is in "just the right" position does it cut properly, but 90% of the time it has a hard time cutting. Not what I would expect from Wahl. Further, the "Dummies" instructions are great if you want to have a dumb-looking haircut, but the techniques are not conducive to having anything other than a good crew cut. messkit Member Since: Sep 2006 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 2 Weeks	Great Hair Clipper Strengths: Cuts smoothly, great instruction guide, good for beginers Weaknesses: Cutter gets warm after running for a bit. A kit with a few more feet and some nice scisors would be a great benefit. Summary: I was nervous at first about doing hair cutting at home; this kit luckily put a lot of those fears aside with its hair cutting for dummies handbook. The trimmer cut smoothly, and for the price I paied I could not have been happier. I do sudggest though that if you plan to use this for more than a half hour strait that you look around since it does get very warm.
