Strengths: Picture Quality, Thin Trim, Net-Command, More features than the WD-65731 for the same price.
Weaknesses: HDMI audio only decoded to 2 channels. No feature to streach shadow boxes on widescreen DVDs when set to 1080i.
Summary: The thing I liked most about this TV was the trim seems to disapear around the picture. The picture is increadable with eye popping colors and no noticable DLP rainbowing even when sitting close to the screen. With 2 HDMI inputs, it would have been nice if they had decoded the audio and sent surround sound 5.1 to the digital coax out, but you'll only get two channels. The Net-command controls most features on our DVD, Amp, and DVR. Set up takes a little time to learn all the features for all the different remotes, but once completed you can control everything using the TV remote. Slow channel surfing is typical to other digital tuners. The TV guide left a lot to be desired, but with the digital cable converter box, we don’t use it.
