Strengths: Large menu screen. Easy selection of options. Large capacity disc memory allows for saving files at lowest compression levels - most accurate reporduction. Line-in for input from audio systems.
Weaknesses: FM radio works well only with strong local signals. Low sensitivity of internal microphone for direct voice recording. Protruding "Select" button can get accidentally toggled.
Summary: Solid electronics and sturdy case. Musicmatch software works well after updates for software and firmware in device from Polaroid site. Would have liked stronger FM receiver for direct off-air recording (have not yet tried inputting from external audio receiver). Would have liked a stronger voice recorder suitable for conference table (maybe external powered microphone would work).
