Very affordable price considering how expensive these things can get. Good quality and speed. Weaknesses: Size! I'm not sure if external drives can be smaller, but I wish this one was. Slightly larger than an internal drive. Summary: I had to buy an external drive since my laptop came with a piece of crap DVD-RAM drive, which wouldn't read anything I put in it except for maybe one or two CDs. However, THIS gets the job done. I was hoping for something smaller since it is for my laptop (12.1" screen). Make sure your laptop case can fit this! Comes with a USB drive, power cable and a CD (although I didn't even need the CD). Excellent product, either way. 100% of People (9/9) found this review helpful. I like the speed. Weaknesses: Comes with software to install on computer. I expected just to plug and play. But after installation works perfectly Summary: I would recommend to buy. It's a good price for a value. Not heavy. Nice styling look with metallic edges.Have not experienced how DVD burner works, but Already burned around 20 CDs and it works perfectly. 100% of People (2/2) found this review helpful. It also supports LightScribe so if you have special LightScribe discs you can let the burner print an image on your disc. LightScribe discs however cost more.
