Strengths: strong material with thick layer of cushion, battery pouch, shoulder strap, stylish
Weaknesses: not as compact as the leather counterpart
Summary: This case is stylish, strong, and provides thick layer of cushion. The only drawback is its size - even though compact, it is larger than its leather counterparts. Overall, it is a well-made attractive case.

Strengths: Sony camera case was exactly what I expected, great quality.
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I received my Sony LCM-WA camera case in 3 days and was very happy with the quality that Sony produced. I highly recommend this high tech looking case. The soft case really protects the camera well.

Strengths: - Hard outside case w/ soft inside. Good protection.
- Easy pull down zipper.
- Camera in and out easy w/ wide mouth.
Weaknesses: - A little bigger than prefer. But I'll live with it for the protection.
- It would be nice to have built in battery/mem stick storage.
Summary: I own a similar Sony case that I used heavily for 4 years with my 4 year old Sony camera. I was pleased to see that this case is of similar design. Three improvements I noticed:
1) Sony eliminated the velcro strap over the top so all you have to do is unzip and slide your camera in and zip back up with the single pull zipper. I never did find that strap necessary.
2) Sony also added some extra padding at the mouth of the case to soften the bumping while putting the camera in and out.
3) Mouth of case is wider making it easier to get your camera in the case the first time.
I would like to have seen some different color options (e.g black, blue maybe) but I can live with the silver.
The case is a little bulky but I expected that from reading pre-purchase reviews. My DSC W-100 has a little extra room when in the case but acceptable.
A built in storage pouch for one extra battery and a memory stick or two would be helpful.
Overall I'm pleased with my purchase and confident in the protection it provides my camera.

Strengths: stylish, seems pretty well constructed, form-fit for the Sony "w" cameras
Weaknesses: battery/memory case does not fit inside case
Summary: The first thing that jumps out about this case is how stylish it is. It really stands out from the standard-issue camera case. My DSC-W1 fits snuggly inside as I imagine the other "W" cameras do. The case is versatile in that it can be worn on the belt with the belt loop or over the shoulder/around the neck with the removable strap. You can also just use the case to protect the camera when you throw it into a backpack or other bag. The extra case for spare batteries and memory stick will attach to the strap, but that really seems to defeat the whole purpose. I think it would've been better if they had included a small section in the case for those items.

Strengths: Was designed for the camera. Very protective, lots of padding. I like how the zippers work and also function as a "handle" for the camera case. Looks cute.
Weaknesses: It's a bit bigger than I thought that it was going to be. Wish it came in more colors.
Summary: The case is well thought out. The memory card holder is nice to have. It does look a bit funnier when you put the shoulder strap on the case but using it without works fine. Makes carrying the camera a bit bulkier.

Strengths: 100% Authentic Sony Case, great quality. Not after market
Weaknesses: N/A
Summary: Sony is a great brand. They always have good quality products. Sony DCS-P3 was my first digital camera and I used the Semi-Soft for the P3. The Semi-Soft case protect the camera very well because my P3 still look like new. Now that I bought the W1, I wanted to have the same quality case and protection for it. I highly recommend this good quality and looking case.

Strengths: compact, shoulder strap, sleek
Weaknesses: not as hard as i imagined
Summary: I generally like this camera case. It fits the camera very well and it comes with a few accessories such a shoulder strap that is detachable and a small detachable bag for extra batteries and memory stick. In general, this is a pretty nice product. It provides more protection than leather cases or nylon cases. Still, i imagined the case to be a little harder. I would still suggest this product to others.

Strengths: Very compact, Snugged fitted to W1 camera, Sleek and excellent material and quality.
Weaknesses: zipper location is not practical
Summary: The Zipper, when zipping up to close the case they sometimes get caught on the ribbon straps that hold the two half of the case together. The small pouch for the battery and memory stick might come in handy but not very practical unless you are using the hand or neck strap that also comes with the camera.
Overall, it is a great case and very cool looking. Do not settle for the after-market case (not sony) those immitation cases are very flimsy and the material can not be compare to the real deal.

Strengths: Its a gr888 choice., to choose this model as the carrying case for the camcorder i brought.. i wud say its THEEE best
Weaknesses: no weaknesses., just that i wish it had the smaller bag inbuilt with the big one
Summary: A sleek camera deserves a sleek case. The LCM-WA carrying case allows you to strut your DSC-W1 or DSC-W1/B Cyber-shot digital camera around in style while protecting it every step of the way. I would say that it is the best choice that anyone cud make in chosing this carrying case for look-wise, cost wise., and the best part is that its the SONY.

Strengths: Protective, lightweight, compact, and easy to carry around.
Weaknesses: Could be a little smaller
Summary: This carrying case is definitely more protective than my old soft case. It is also a lot smaller. I like that I am able to carry it around my waist and that it is not so heavy that I am constantly thinking about it. I would like it to be a bit smaller, but due to the size of my camera (DSC-W1) this is as good as it gets. Recommended if your camera is similar to mine.
